About

Craig Barrow is a designer working across objects, sculpture and spaces. His practice is rooted in close observation of patterns, materials and relationships; both human and natural, and explores how things are made, how systems behave and how people interact with objects and environments.

Through processes of abstraction, imitation and re-contextualisation, these observations evolve into new forms and environments, becoming the basis of his work.

Born in Nottingham, UK, Craig studied 3D Design at the University of Brighton and now lives and works in Berlin.

Exhibition design for showcase of digital artworks from over 70 artists from Refraction DAO at Zerospace Brooklyn during NFT NYC 2022.

The artworks were displayed across projection screens, hanging installations, monitors and VR headsets. The frameworks for the various installations were built up using steel pipe and fittings, custom wood plinths, re-bonded foam, painted breeze blocks and ratchet straps. The exhibition transformed Brooklyn’s ZeroSpace lofty warehouse space into an immersive gallery and performance space, with live music, DJ’s, panels, live mints and poetry.
