Craig Barrow is a designer working across objects, sculpture and spaces. His practice is rooted in close observation of patterns, materials and relationships; both human and natural, and explores how things are made, how systems behave and how people interact with objects and environments.
Through processes of abstraction, imitation and re-contextualisation, these observations evolve into new forms and environments, becoming the basis of his work.
Born in Nottingham, UK, Craig studied 3D Design at the University of Brighton and now lives and works in Berlin.

Limited edition collectible sculptures made in collaboration with DJ Peggy Gou to celebrate the launch of the 2019 Nike Air Max 720 sneaker. A playful homage to the 720 and Craig and Peggy’s mutually favourite animal, the giraffe. Cast in layered resin, inspired by the bold colourways of the trainers and the various natural phenomena taken as influence for them; sunrise and sunsets, desert patterns, geothermal salt pools, the aurora borealis, to name a few. A small giraffe figure is adorned in various graphics and its own pair of Air Max 720 sneakers, positioned proudly atop a trophy plinth.
Limited edition of 300 available through the Nike Air Store.
