Craig Barrow is a designer working across objects, sculpture and spaces. His practice is rooted in close observation of patterns, materials and relationships; both human and natural, and explores how things are made, how systems behave and how people interact with objects and environments.
Through processes of abstraction, imitation and re-contextualisation, these observations evolve into new forms and environments, becoming the basis of his work.
Born in Nottingham, UK, Craig studied 3D Design at the University of Brighton and now lives and works in Berlin.

Pop-up coffee bar for LAP at HALLEN 07 at Wilhelm Hallen during Berlin Art Week 2026.
The installation pairs aluminium framing with ribbed polycarbonate panels, drawing on the industrial character of the surrounding architecture. Simple rectangular forms define the counter and a tall vertical screen. The translucent panels catch changing light and reflections, concealing the drink preparation equipment while keeping the bar feeling airy and open.
LAP’s signature blue circle is introduced at different scales across the panels, bringing a bold graphic element to the restrained material palette. Seen through the polycarbonate, its edges soften and its intensity shifts with the viewing angle. The brand’s blue continues through smaller details, including a blue stone counter sign, adding a playful contrast to the precise metal framework.
