Craig Barrow is a designer working across objects, sculpture and spaces. His practice is rooted in close observation of patterns, materials and relationships; both human and natural, and explores how things are made, how systems behave and how people interact with objects and environments.

Through processes of abstraction, imitation and re-contextualisation, these observations evolve into new forms and environments, becoming the basis of his work.

Born in Nottingham, UK, Craig studied 3D Design at the University of Brighton and now lives and works in Berlin.

2022
Refraction DAO at Basel Miami 22

Sceneography for 30 digital and physical artworks of Refraction DAO artists. Artworks displayed via projections, monitors, prints, sculpture and tapestry, housed amongst reflective plinths, hanging installations, infinity mirror columns and various steel pipe structures and rubber mulch filled bases, reminiscent of children’s play areas. Exhibition, music stage, live mints and panel areas were immersed amongst the tropical flora and industrial architecture of a Little Haiti warehouse lot, spanning across an indoor gallery space and outside garden.
